Vikings

The Vikings were a band of Norse warrior-thieves.

The Vikings, led by Hakon, attacked Castle Wyvern around dusk in 994 CE. Two of Hakon's men mentioned that attacking a castle full of gargoyles near dusk was insane. Hakon overheard his men, threatening them for questioning his sanity, and leading all his men onto attacking the castle. They were nearly successful until the sleeping gargoyles awoke and drove Hakon and the other Vikings away.

Later the next day, the Captain of the Guard made a deal with the Vikings to betray Castle Wyvern's defenses to them. Goliath's mate was supposed to lead the clan away from the castle, but she failed to do so. As a result, the Vikings shattered the sleeping gargoyles.[1]
